Bee Friendly Warwick are holding their Bee Wild event on 14th June at Hill Close Gardens, Bread and Meat Close, Warwick CV34 6HF. Please see more information below:
Be peaceful in Leamington on Saturday and then you can 🐝 BEE 🌼 WILD in Warwick on Sunday!
As we have packed the jungle 🌳 Hill Close Gardens with a fantastic wildlife-themed event, our best yet 🥁!!!)
Enjoy *🆓 free entry but donations recommended and 📣 short talks during the event on gardening for wildlife (12 noon), 🦔 hedgehogs (1pm), and good bee hotels 🏡 (2pm) or on demand in the big 🏕️ Bee Friendly Teepee 🩵 💛.
Beautiful decorations by ‘The Woolly Wonders’ 🧶 will protect the venue from predators bring an untamed, unruly, handmade knitted vibe. You may spot these timid creatures knitting 🧶 by the café in the afternoon.
There will be activities for younger children to hunt 🔎 for insect-painted rocks in the garden and for older children to solve the letter-puzzle 🔡 trail, as well as nature-based crafting activities such as 🖌️rock painting.

Woodcarving and weaving by Coventry Woodcarvers Association and Coventry Weavers, Spinners & Dyers
See a display of photographs, mostly taken in Hill Close Gardens or locally in the Cafe (spot the zombie 🐞 ladybird).

Get advice on good 🏡 bee hotels, get guidance on 🌼 plants for pollinators 🐝 year-round, get the new Bee House and Nature Trail 🗺️ leaflet and add your wildlife garden to our 🗾map to help us spot habitat gaps – all at the Bee Friendly Warwick yellow ⛺💛Gazebo.
Warwickshire Wildlife groups: Warwickshire 🦇 Bat, 🦔Hedgehog, 🦌Mammals (ask about Dormice), 🐸 Amphibians & Newts and 🐦🐦⬛Birding, can help you learn the best way to help our local wildlife.
