Finham Brook Water Testing Alliance
The Finham Brook Water Testing Alliance officially launched on the 1 June 2026 following a series of eight free WaterBlitz sessions in April which gave local residents the opportunity to learn about and take part in water quality testing at Finham Brook.
The Alliance brings together residents and organisations to monitor water quality in Finham Brook and other local watercourses, including measuring nutrient levels such as nitrates and phosphates. The group forms part of the Warwickshire Climate Alliance (WCA) network.
The project receives equipment, funding and event support from R4K, Odibourne Allotments, KATG, FreshWater Watch (FWW), Surfers Against Sewage (SAS), Kenilworth Lions Club and WCA.
Members of the Alliance shared the results of their monitoring work and demonstrated water testing techniques at the Kenilworth Lions Grand Show on 6 June and the Leamington Peace Festival on 13 June.
Further WaterBlitz sessions are planned for September 2026, with booking details to be announced soon.
