Warwick District Council launches new Community Climate and Nature Fund
A new Community Climate and Nature Fund has launched in Warwick District to help community organisations, charities and schools to deliver projects that reduce carbon emissions, improve climate resilience, enhance biodiversity and reduce waste.
The fund will provide £100,000 per year over the next two financial years, with grants of up to £10,000 available for local projects. Eligible initiatives could include habitat creation and enhancement, natural flood management schemes, cycling projects, repair and reuse schemes, and projects that reduce carbon emissions.
Grants will be awarded on a quarterly basis. The first application round is now open until 30 September 2026, with further rounds taking place in autumn, winter and spring. All of the information, including eligibility criteria and the application form, can now be found on their website here.
